Share your requirementsWho usually fills this role
Mostly graduates, undergraduates and school leavers with typing practice, many first-time workers. Some come from other data processing firms. At hiring, test typing speed with accuracy, attention to detail with a spot-the-error exercise, reading of documents and confidentiality understanding. Take references, and ask for a short practical demonstration before making the offer.

Training path
First weeks
- 1
Confidentiality and rules

- 2
Process guide and tool
The trainer teaches the document types and entry screens. The joiner enters sample batches which the trainer checks.
- 3
Accuracy checks
Teach double-checking and common error types. The reviewer compares entries and shares errors with the joiner.
First year

Handling exceptions
Teach unreadable, missing and unusual documents. The leader reviews exception logs.
- 2
Speed and accuracy balance

The senior associate suggests simple changes that cut errors. The leader tests and adopts good ones.
Performance review
A weekly feedback check with the team leader on quality samples, a monthly 1-to-1 and a half-yearly written review. Keep each conversation short and based on records, not memory.
