HR process consulting for Social Media Agencies: tidying hiring, joining, rostering and leaving
Fast-growing social agencies run hiring, induction and exits by habit. A short review of how each works today, and a list of small fixes, saves hours and avoids repeated mistakes.

A social agency adds clients in bursts and people follow. Hiring happens on chat, joining happens on the first morning, weekend rosters live in a message thread and exits happen on a Friday with a handshake. It works at twelve people. At thirty, details fall through: a missed access removal, a double-booked weekend, a joiner with no laptop.
A process review looks at each of these four flows as they actually run. Who does what, in which order, what goes wrong and how often. Then it picks the five fixes that would save the most trouble: a joining checklist, a roster template, a hiring scorecard, an exit routine and a place where everyone looks for the answer.
How to set it up
1. Map four flows
Hiring, joining, rostering and leaving. For each, write the steps as they happen today with who does them.
2. Mark the problems
Note where steps are missed, repeated or slow. Use real recent cases, with names removed.
3. Pick the top five fixes
Choose changes that remove the most repeated trouble, such as a joining checklist or a roster template. Leave the rest for later.
4. Test with one team
Try the changes with one team for a month. Ask them what helped and what was extra work.
5. Roll out and write down
Adopt what worked, write it on one page per flow and assign an owner. Connect with recruitment and onboarding as needed.
Check these first
Before changing anything, find out what is true today. These take an afternoon and use your own records.
- Ask the last three joiners what was missing on day one.
- Check the last exit for access and equipment steps missed.
- Count roster conflicts in the last quarter.
- See whether anyone owns the hiring process.

Questions owners ask
For a small agency, a few weeks of part-time attention is enough: mapping, a short list of fixes and a month of testing. Keep the scope to four flows.
Light ones do not. A checklist or a template saves time by removing repeated errors. Add only what solves a real problem you have seen.
Someone close to the work, supported by a partner. An outside view can help to see the gaps. The people who do the work should always test the changes.
