HR process consulting for Tile showrooms: how orders, referrals and incentives move through the showroom
In a tile showroom an order passes from adviser to billing to godown to van to site, with rewards owed along the way. Reviewing the people processes that sit around that path finds where time and goodwill are lost.

Share your requirementsWhy HR process consulting matters in tile showrooms
Tile showrooms grow fast. More advisers, a bigger godown, more architects and more project orders arrive before the people rules are written. Incentives are explained by word of mouth, referral rewards are noted on a scrap and the godown follows the supervisor's habits. Everything works while the owner is watching and strains when he is not.
HR process consulting walks through the showroom's real day and maps who decides what: hiring, rosters, incentives, referrals, breakage, discipline and training. It points out gaps and overlaps, suggests a few simple processes and puts them in order of value. It does not impose a heavy manual. The result is a short plan the owner can accept, change or decline.
How to set it up
1. Walk through a typical order
From first visit to delivery and payment. Note every person who touches it and every promise made on the way.
2. Map the people decisions
Who hires, who sets rosters, who approves a reward, who deals with breakage and who handles a complaint. Mark where nobody does.
3. Find the costly gaps
Look for repeated errors, disputes and exits. Rank them by cost in money, time and goodwill.
4. Design a few simple processes
Choose the top three gaps and draft a one-page process for each, with owner, steps and a check.
5. Agree scope in writing
A short plan with what will be done, by whom and by when, for the owner to accept, change or decline.
Check these first
Before changing anything, find out what is true today. These take an afternoon and use your own records.
- Ask who approves a referral reward and where it is recorded.
- List the people decisions that depend on one person alone.
- Check which disputes recurred in the last quarter.
- See whether any people process is written on one page.

Questions owners ask
No. A showroom of ten people also gains from a review of orders, rewards and breakage. The processes are lighter, but the gaps are similar.
No. We prefer a few short processes that staff will use. A one-page process with clear owners is better than a folder nobody opens.
The owner, the showroom manager, a senior adviser and the godown supervisor. A few hours with each is enough to map the real day.
