Job description
- We are looking for a Product Associate to support the research, planning, testing, and delivery of websites and software products.
- You will help us understand user needs, research competing products, document requirements, create basic wireframes, test features, and coordinate development tasks. You will work under the guidance of the Founder / Product Lead, who will set priorities and approve product decisions.
- This role suits someone with a software testing background who wants to develop broader skills in product development.
- Reporting to: Founder / Product Lead
- Training and Initial Focus: The initial focus will be software testing and competitor research for one assigned product. Responsibilities will expand gradually to include requirements documentation, basic wireframes, user research, and project coordination.
- Guidance, practical assignments, and regular reviews will support this learning. Depending on the agreed onboarding arrangement, the initial designation may be Associate Product Trainee.

Responsibilities
- Market and Competitor Research: Research competing products, their features, pricing, and user experience.

- User Research and Feedback: Support user interviews, surveys, and feedback collection.

- Requirements and Documentation: Convert product discussions into clear feature requirements.

Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical skills.
- Basic understanding of websites, software applications, and the development process.
- Familiarity with manual testing, test cases, and bug reporting.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Ability to organise information and document it accurately.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions.
- Ability to work independently, follow through on tasks, and communicate reliably in a remote setting.
- Willingness to learn research, requirements documentation, wireframing, and coordination.
- Good to have: QA or software testing internship experience.
- Good to have: Familiarity with Postman, Figma, spreadsheets, or task management tools.
- Good to have: Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, SQL, or test automation.
- Good to have: Experience using AI tools and checking their outputs.
- You do not need prior experience in every responsibility listed. We are looking for a strong foundation, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
